Hey, Janice!
So glad to see you back at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Let's get you squared away because this party will surely raise spirits!
As you know,0 the dates for
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party are released but the ticket prices are still unknown. Last year's prices for the late October Party we attended were $74.00 for a child and $79.00 for an adult (both prices excluding tax). Prices vary on the day of the week and get more expensive the closer to the final party which will be Halloween in 2016. We are hoping for the ticket sales will occur very soon as I purchased my tickets on April 8, 2015, last year.
Personally, I would look at the party dates on the Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party web page and plan to attend a mid-week party which is usually less attended. That should help you plan out your trip.
By attending a special party such as Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party or Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party you may usually enter Magic Kingdom Park at 4:00 p.m. and stay till the party ends at midnight (8 total hours). Tickets for these events are less expensive than a full day ticket and give you great access to attractions while attending a fun party with lower crowds. A simple way to enjoy all the magic for a little less money. We usually spend the pre-party hours relaxing at the pool, napping or at Disney Springs.
Disney Dad Tip: Bring a backpack for candy. During the night, you will be able to treat-or-treat along the candy trails. You will be provided with a small bag and Cast Members will put the candy in the small bag. You may then transfer the candy into the backpack. We gathered 10 pounds of candy and only visited half the candy trails!
Janice, enjoy making many Spooktacular Magical Memories in September!
