Hi,Planning on staying at Grand Californian for our 1st Land trip 6/2019. Have boys 6yo & just turned 3yo, so afternoon naps/pool time will help avoid some of the expected crowds. Should I request a certain room like some do at World, where?

    Hi there, Christine!

Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I can't wait for you to stay at my favorite hotel on Disneyland Resort Property, Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. I just love the Craftsman-style decor, grand lobby, and the subtle Disney details that are found throughout. This hotel also boasts some fantastic dining options whether you are looking for something casual or a memorable gourmet meal.

One of the best perks of staying at this hotel is the dedicated entrance into Disney California Adventure Park for hotel Guests. This makes trips back to the hotel throughout the day SO convenient and quick. As a parent of a little one, it also is great for a quick change of clothes or just some quiet time away from the hustle and bustle.

While you are always able to make room requests at Disneyland Resort Hotels just as you may at Walt Disney World Resort Hotels, these requests are never guaranteed. The scale of Disneyland Resort Hotels is smaller than some you may be familiar with at the Walt Disney World Resort, so I have always found our rooms to be rather convenient no matter where we are located.

I hope this helps, and I wish you all a Fantasmic vacation!
