I have a hip replacement. Staying at Caribbean Beach Jan 8-16. What building should I request to be close to facilities? Would like to limit extra walking after being at parks all day! :-) Should I call ahead or wait until we arrive for best chance?

    Hi Janet,

At Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort the buildings are grouped in 6 villages: Barbados, Martinique, Aruba, Jamaica, Trinidad North, and Trinidad South. Each village has 6 buildings, except for Trinidad North, which has 3 buildings and each building contains 64 guest rooms. Each village has its own pool, white sand beach with hammocks and playground, laundry facilities, bus stop, and parking area.

Old Port Royale is the main activities area with Market Street food court, Shutters table-service restaurant, Calypso Trading Post and Straw Market shops, Lobby Concierge, Goombay Games arcade as well as a large Spanish fort-themed pool complete with water slide, wading pool, and whirlpool.

The closest buildings to Old Port Royale are in Martinique (Buildings 26, 25, and 24) followed by Trinidad North (Buildings 31, 32, and 33).

You can see a map of Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort by following this link:- http://www.wdwinfo.com/maps/CBMapFront.pdf

I would definitely recommend that you call the hotel direct on (407) 934-3400 prior to your arrival to have it noted on your reservation that you would like to be located in one of these buildings.

I hope that this information has been of help and wish you a magical trip!
