Hi, I have a hip replacement. Do I get preferred parking? If so, how should I do that? Is there a place to enroll, since I am a pass holder?

    Hi Paulo,

Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your vacation planning question.  I am happy to help you make plans for your upcoming vacation!

Walt Disney World is one of the most accessible places that I have ever visited, and that is a dear thing to my own heart as I am a Physical Therapist and understand how mobility impairments can limit everyday activities.  But have no worries there is a great big, beautiful tomorrow waiting for you!

As a Disney Annual Passholder, you enjoy many perks and one of those perks is free parking at all Disney Resort theme parks.  Additionally, if you have a valid disability parking permit you may park in the disabled parking sections throughout the Walt Disney World Resort.  Paulo, here is a link for Services for Guests with Mobility Disabilities that can provide more information about the many services available throughout the Walt Disney World Resort.  There is also a phone number listed in the link if you would like to speak to someone about your specific concerns.  I would also like to share with you that if you find that you may need to rent an Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV), you can do this too.  ECV's are available for renting inside each theme park as well as renting from a Disney Featured Provider if you would like to use one outside of the theme parks.

I hope you find this information useful as you make your upcoming plans!  Please come back and visit us again with all of your vacation planning questions.  We are always happy to help you plan your next Magical Adventure!

    See Ya Real Soon,
