Hi there, Eleanor! Welcome to
planDisney, the Most Magical Place on the Internet. Thank you so much for stopping by with your question!
According to the
Walt Disney World Property Rules, Policies & Regulations, all folding chairs are prohibited at all four Theme Parks, two Water Parks, the
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, and Disney Springs, regardless of size. Unfortunately, this means that you won't be able to bring your collapsible stool with you.
Eleanor, even though I know that this wasn't the news you were expecting to hear, I do want to point out that there are quite a few places for you to sit down and rest up throughout the
Walt Disney World Resort. However, since lines are your main concern, I actually suggest renting a wheelchair at the entrance of the Theme Parks! You won't need to walk at all this way, but if you do want to stand and walk for a bit, you could even use the wheelchair as a cane.
Keep in mind that
wheelchair rentals are available to all Guests on a first-come, first-served basis, so I would plan to arrive early if you want to rent yours at the Theme Parks. That being said, you're more than welcome to bring your own wheelchair to the parks! If wheelchairs are not your thing, you'll also be able to rent an ECV, but these sell out much faster. If you still have questions regarding services for Guests with mobility disabilities, I suggest reaching out to a
Disability Services Cast Member over at (407) 560-2547.
I hope this helps, Eleanor! If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach back out to us so we may assist you further. Have a magical day!
Warm hugs,
Ana Paula
