Ahoy, Alicia!
Welcome back to the Moms Panel. I love your surprise plan for your family. Planning a surprise Disney trip has it's own magical set of feelings for parents. My husband and I planned multiple surprise trips for our 2 kids... and these were the most fun adventures that we went on. After the 3rd 'surprise', our kids started catching on that our planned scavenger hunts always pointed to something Disney. They wanted to be involved in all the planning from that point. But I do miss having magical mail arrive... and then running into a closed room and be giddy with excitement! :-)
You upcoming 3-night Bahamian cruise just in time to celebrate
Halloween on the High Seas will be the best Halloween celebration yet! Your boys will be floored that they get to spend Halloween early on the Disney Cruise. Wowza! The 3-night cruises are all cruise casual dinner attire, so you won't have to worry about formal night. This should not stop you from wearing some bling if you'd like to though! So, if you want to prepare for some holiday pictures while on the cruise, go ahead and pack something dressier. Don't forget your costumes! I'm sure you would have already received your cruise documents and a message to remind you about the special halloween celebrations happening. I am looking forward to seeing the ships all dressed up for Halloween myself - I can't wait!
There's so many things to look forward to on the Disney Cruise. You are definitely doing
Disney a different way and I applaud you for setting up magical memories that your boys will remember forever! Have an awesome trip, Alicia! If you have any specific questions about your upcoming voyage, do let us know and we'll try our best to help you out.
Happy planning!
