Hi Our family loves our Disney vacations!! I read online that Allergy-friendly menus are being made available at many restaurants. Is there a list of what restaurants have these menus or online menus to make planning easier ahead of time? Thanks!!!!

    Hi Mary!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! As the mom to a son with multiple food allergies, I share in your excitement for the arrival of allergy-friendly menus! The Disney Parks Blog announcement specified that 120 table-service and quick-service restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort would be offering the menus, but did not specify the exact locations where these menus can be found. I contacted the Special Diets Team to ask them if I could get the information from them, and unfortunately they are not providing a complete list of participating restaurants or menus at this time. So unfortunately, it is not possible yet to plan your meals around locations with these menus.

However, the blog post did specify that menus would roll out to Signature Restaurants on April 14, 2015. Signature Restaurants are the restaurants that require two dining credits on the Disney Dining Plan and are listed in the 2015 Disney Dining Plan brochure. I would expect the menus to be available at these restaurants and at a larger variety of restaurants over the next few months.

Please keep in mind that you can always ask to speak to a Chef or Manager at any restaurant to discuss the food allergies in your party. I always like to speak to the Chef to discuss my son's specific food allergies and use their expertise to choose a safe meal for him. Guests have this option at all restaurants, including those that offer allergy-friendly menus.

Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for additional information as the menu roll-out continues. Please let me know if you have any other questions! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
