Hi Linda,
Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.
It sounds like you're considering adding a
Disney Dining Plan to your Walt Disney World Resort reservation. What I really appreciate about the Disney Dining Plan options is the convenience of pre-paid meals with the flexibility to
choose from so many wonderful restaurant experiences.
Disney’s “Wine & Dine” Plan, the package you mention that let you add a bottle of wine per night to your reservation, is no longer available as an add-on. The current Disney Dining Plans allow Guests who are age 21 and older to choose an alcoholic beverage such as a serving of beer, wine, or cocktail with their meal.
You ask a great question about being able to purchase a bottle of wine and deduct the price of the beverages that are included with your
Disney Deluxe Dining Plan. While generally speaking, you wouldn't be able to deduct the price of your included beverages from a bottle you purchase, my best suggestion is to check with your Cast Member wait staff at your restaurant. Restaurants may accommodate requests at their discretion, so I'd say take the "it never hurts to ask" approach and check with your restaurant staff.
Linda, here's wishing you a wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
Enjoy your Disney!
Jerry
