    Hi,Oct 2019 Bermuda. Horse shoe bay beach is a must for us to visit would it be better to take a taxi there or do the excursion? Since we are docked for 1.5 days, we don't have to watch the clock like usual cruises or do we still? Thanks

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I was so thrilled to see more amazing questions from you! I squealed when I read that you're planning to visit Bermuda next October! My family and I were able to take a Disney Cruise to Bermuda this past October and had the voyage of a lifetime! I can't begin to express how beautiful the island was and how friendly and wonderful the people were!

    We did the Horseshoe Bay Beach Transfer Port Adventure and I never wanted to leave! I understand how you would want as much time soaking up the sun on that beautiful pink sand beach as possible! I recommend booking the excursion because it is so easy and effortless. Plus, if you want to stay at the beach longer, Guests may take their own transportation back to the cruise ship at their own expense! When we were there this past October, there were many taxis lined up, ready to take people where they wanted to go. I also wanted to mention that you should make sure to bring a credit card in order to rent beach chairs and an umbrella for your day in the sand!

    You will love the ship being docked overnight in Bermuda because you won't be nervous about making the all aboard time until the afternoon of the second day! We loved spending the first day at the beach and the second day shopping on the island before setting sail back to New York.
