    Any hints for staying At the Fort Wilderness Lodge? I was told to not accept a room near the lobby because of noise and ask to stay to the "left"? any truth in this??Thank you

    Hi Kristine!

         I love staying at the Wilderness Lodge Resort!  I had the privilege of staying there with my son twice last year!  One of the times we did stay in a room whose door opened to the Wilderness Lodge lobby which was on the floor directly above the Whispering Canyon Cafe.  We could hear the noise from Whispering Canyon Cafe until about 11:00 pm.  The Wilderness Lodge lobby rooms will definitely be louder than the Lodge view rooms which face the woods on the North Wing (left) and the Villas on the South Wing (right).  You can request a Lodge view room when you book your Wilderness Lodge Resort stay or you can request it when you check in.

    I hope that your stay at the Wilderness Lodge Resort is truly magical!
