Hi, My we're taking a 7 day cruise in August but since we are leaving from Orland, I'd like to take my 3 girls to Disney World 2 days prior to our cruise, considering they have never been there. Any recommendations for a value hotel in the Disney grounds

    Hello Martha!

There are actually four value resorts located on Disney Property.  First, there are a set of "sister" resorts - All Star Movies, All Star Sports and All Star Music.  All are very similar but differ based upon theming.  The other value resort is Pop Century

I've had the opportunity to stay in all of these resorts with the exception of All Star Music and have had fabulous vacations at each location.  However, I tend to prefer the location and theming at Pop Century.  In addition, because Pop Century does not have a sister resort, the buses do not share with other resorts meaning once you leave a park, you are going directly to the Pop.

Also, you didn't mention when you were going in August.  If it's 8/16 or later and you are willing to add a night to the Disney portion of your vacation, Disney is running a fabulous free dining promotion.  You can read the details here but it does require a 3-night minimum stay.  Just a thought....
