Hi My son Is 15, He say's he is to old for a charcter meal. I think he would still enjoy one. What do you think. We are comming by our selfs in June.

Character meals can be fun for all ages, but I probably would not force it on him if he is against it.

There are non-character restaurants that offer great food and atmosphere that both of you might enjoy.  You have many restaurants to choose from, but some suggestions are Teppan Edo in Japan (Epcot);  50's Prime Time Cafe (Hollywood Studios); ESPN Zone (Boardwalk); Beaches and Cream (Beach Club Resort).  These restaurants all offer great themeing and tasty menus - even for picky eaters!  I think these would be good compromises. You'll get that magical Disney feeling without an unhappy teenager!

With your son, look through the Dining Finder on the Disney World website.  Together, I think you will find some restaurants you can both agree on.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
