Hello there, Stephanie! Welcome to planDisney!
Your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort will be here in no time, and I know that your family is counting down the days. I am more than happy to help you with your question (although I think I'll be very hungry by the time I'm done answering...).
At the table service restaurants that I've experienced, including character dining and all-you-care-to-enjoy options, Guests who are 3-9 years old are considered "children" and those older than that range are considered "adults."
If you're still considering which table service restaurants to book when your 60-day
advance dining reservation window opens, here are some of my favorites:
-
Crystal Palace for breakfast at Magic Kingdom Park (Three words: Mickey churro waffles.)
-
Garden Grill Restaurant at EPCOT (You've got to love a restaurant that slowly rotates while you meet your favorite characters.)
-
Sanaa at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge (My family loves watching the roaming animals while we enjoy a yummy bread service.)
-
Yak & Yeti Restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park (The menu has so much variety!)
-
California Grill for dinner at Disney's Contemporary Resort (The view of the Magic Kingdom Park fireworks at night is not to be missed.)
AN EXTRA GEM: If your kiddos are picky eaters, have no fear! Although the cost would be the same, feel free to ask the host or waiter if they can substitute the menu items for a simpler dish that your children would prefer. They may be able to accommodate your request. While I do recommend that while at the Most Magical Place on Earth that they try as many diverse flavors as possible, my own little Mousketeers have been able to chow down on chicken nuggets and fries at the table service restaurant
Tusker House Restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
Stephanie, if you have any other questions as you plan your most magical vacation,
please revisit us here at planDisney.
Magic always,
LeAndra
