Hi, My husband and I will be traveling to Disney with our 3 year old for the first time for Easter. We have 7am reservations at Chef Mickey. We are staying in a timeshare 15 minutes away from Disney. What do you reccomend is the best way to travel?

Hi Ashley!  Wow you have an early morning breakfast with Mickey! That will be a great way to start your day.

Since it is so early I suggest you take a car to get to the Contemporary Resort. If you do not have one yourself then take a taxi.  Your timeshare resort will be able to give you directions to reach the Contemporary or just follow the signs to the Magic Kingdom and pass through the right side of the entrance gates and go straight to the resort area. Continue straight until you see the Contemporary resort. You will need to go through the guard gate and tell him/her that you have reservations for Chef Mickey.  You will be allowed to park for a couple of hours at this resort but if you plan on heading to the Magic Kingdom after you will need to take the car and move it to the park lot.  If you haven't traveled by your own vehicle then I suggest you either walk the short walk to the park entrance or take the resort monorail around the loop.

If you are desiring to visit another park that day after breakfast you can take a bus from the Contemporary but please remember you are not allowed to park your personal car there for the day.
