Hi Jodie!
How exciting that you're taking your daughter to Walt Disney World for the first time! June is a great time of year to visit. You're going to have an amazingly magical time together!
I'm happy to share some recommendations for dining with your daughter.
For your Magic Kingdom day(s), I'd definitely suggest that you plan to enjoy lunch at Be Our Guest Restaurant in the New Fantasyland. Don't be intimidated by the queue that forms to get inside for lunch. The line moves quite quickly and I can assure you from first-hand experience that it's well wroth the wait! For dinner, I'd recommend an Advance Dining Reservation for Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner at 1900 Park Fare. This dining location is in Disney's Grand Floridian Resort, just a short distance outside the Magic Kingdom gates. You can get there by monorail or by boat, and still come back into Magic Kingdom for Wishes fireworks later that evening if you choose. If you're spending a second day in Magic Kingdom, I'd also recommend Chef Mickey's in the nearby Contemporary Resort, or Crystal Palace inside the park, for another fun character dinner or breakfast. These special dining experiences should definitely be
reserved online right away or by calling (407) WDW-DINE.
For your day spent at Animal Kingdom, I'd highly recommend starting out with breakfast or lunch at Tusker House for Donald's Dining Safari. This fun meal features Donald Duck, Safari Mickey, and other character friends. For dinner, consider the Rainforest Cafe at the park gate, or jump on a bus to Downtown Disney and explore the many great dining options there!
If you have additional questions, please write me back any time Jodie. I'd love to hear from you again and it would be my pleasure to assist you further in the planning of your Magical vacation to Walt Disney World!
