Hi, My husband and I will be going to Disneyland for the first time in March. I noticed that when I look to make a hotel reservation, the prices go up. I was wondering if it's because we are going in march or if its because it's 6 months away?

    Hi, Melinda!

Prices for Disneyland Resort hotels will fluctuate with the season. You will find better rates during slower times of the year (September - when kids are all back in school) vs. busy times like Spring Break (March) or Christmas (December) when rates will be higher as the demand increases.

If your travel is flexible, try some different dates to see if you can find a better rate. Also, take a peek at the Special Offers to see if any promotions apply to your travel dates. You might want to check out the Good Neighbor Hotels to see if these locations fit your budget as these are sometimes a bit less expensive.

While at the Disneyland Resort, plan to visit both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. Both parks offer so much magic during the day, and the nighttime spectaculars such as World of Color and Fantasmic! are wonderful ways to top off your Disney-day!

Good luck finding a plan that fits your dates and your travel budget.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
