Hiya, Noreen! Welcome to
planDisney, and thank you so much for stopping by with your question. I'm delighted to help you out today!
I have to start by telling you that your upcoming vacation to the
Walt Disney World Resort sounds like an absolute dream to me.
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is my favorite
Disney Resorts Collection hotel to stay at for countless reasons, but the main reason is definitely how convenient it is. Having the option of taking the Monorail or walking back to your Resort room in the middle of the day is a life saver, especially if you're traveling with three little ones. Chances are, you'll be spending a lot of time at Magic Kingdom Park as it is, so having the option to recharge and then return to the magic without too much hassle is always a win-win.
Noreen, I think it's absolutely adorable and heart-warming to hear that your two-year-old child loves Mickey Mouse so much. Honestly, I can absolutely relate to those feelings, and trust me, Mickey LOVES your child too! In fact, I just had a conversation with him and he simply can't wait for you to pop by and say hello. Mickey would like your child to know that he will be waiting to
meet him at Town Square Theater in Main Street, U.S.A., and he will be wearing his 50th best for the occasion. Mickey also went ahead and cleared his entire schedule (phew, boy! He's one busy Mouse!) just for your tiny Mousketeer. Just between you and me, he loves to hang out at
Chef Mickey's in Disney's Contemporary Resort and the
Garden Grill Restaurant at EPCOT, where he usually prepares most of the food you eat. And don't you worry about a thing, Noreen, because we will know when you've made plans and we'll let Mickey know immediately.
On that note, I would also like to point out that your precious little boy will always feel Mickey's warm welcome. The great thing about the Walt Disney World Resort is that it's actually Mickey's home, so he's EVERYWHERE! In fact, he sometimes likes to hide his silhouette in places where you normally wouldn't think to look for it. This is what we call a Hidden Mickey, and there's thousands of those all throughout the Resort! Looking for Hidden Mickeys is something that I love to do with my family, so I'm sure you'll have the best time doing it too.
Get your ears on, and have fun!
