Hi~My family will be visiting March 2-8 and staying at Art of Animation. My question is kind of off the wall, but I was wondering if the bugs(anything that will bite)will be bad at this time of year? My daughter sometimes has really bad reactions to bites.

    Hi there, Melanie!

March is a great time of the year to visit the Walt Disney World Resort, I just love the weather in the early Spring! I love your question too, and I'm really glad you asked because bugs can be a slight issue any time of the year down in Florida simply because of the warmer climate. I'm especially sensitive to bugs and I've never had any problems, but I always pack the allergy gel to put on immediately just in case a bite happens. Another thing that I've learned is if you wash the bite immediately with soap and water, it tends to mellow out the reaction. I also want to be sure to let you know that there is a First Aid Station at each one of the four major Theme Parks and both Water Parks, so if your daughter needs attention right away, just visit them and they'll fix her right up.

I hope this helps! Please come back and visit us again if you think of any other questions we can help with!

    Have a Pixie Dusted vacation!
