    Hi! My family and I are traveling to WDW next month and staying at French Quarter. For Christmas we received Disney GC and were planning on using them for our meals and shopping. Do you know how many of the retailers at DS accept the GC or DR cards?

    Hi, Gabrielle! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Wow, Santa sure gave you a great gift last Christmas, didn't he? Let's help you figure out how to spend all those Disney dollars!

    I couldn't find a comprehensive list of where you can use your Disney Gift Cards, although the official website says "participating locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks, Disney Springs, Walt Disney World Water Parks, and Walt Disney World Resorts." I took an unscientific poll of the other Disney Moms and the consensus is that almost every retail and dining location at Disney Springs will accept them. According to the website, exceptions may be carts or kiosks, or other outdoor vendors. If in doubt, you can always ask. Plus, many locations at Disney Springs will allow you to pay using your MagicBand, so you can always do that and then use your Gift Cards to settle up at the front desk of your Resort hotel if you like.

    It looks like you also have some Disney Rewards Dollars from your Disney Visa Card to spend. I was able to find a pretty extensive list on the Where to Redeem page on the Disney Rewards website. In fact, I think you can use your rewards just about everywhere at Disney Springs!

    Oh, and Gabrielle - be sure to save some room for an order (or two!) of beignets at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter! They're tres magnifique!
