Hi! My family and I took our first trip to WDW in September and had the best time! I am planning our next trip for 2016 but I'm not sure what would be a better time to go Feb or May? Also I wanted to stay somewhere different (AoA in Sept). Any suggestion

Hi, Michele!  It makes me so happy to hear you and your family had a fabulous time visiting Walt Disney World.  Planning your next vacation is so much fun, the time will just fly right by.

I personally love visiting Walt Disney World in February.  The temperatures are great, jeans and a long sleeve shirt are perfect for a day at the parks.  Typically, the first two weeks are very low crowds.  When we were there in February, we were able to pretty much walk on all of the attractions with little to no wait time.  If you do decide to visit in February, keep in mind that right around Presidents Day has gotten to be a very busy time of year and it gets very crowded.  I would try to avoid that if at all possible. The last week of February also seems like a great time to visit according to several crowd calendars on Disney fan blogs around the web.

Art of Animation is such a fun resort, it will be hard to top it. My two favorites are Disney's Pop Century Resort for a value level resort and Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort in the moderate category.  If you are going to be spending some time at the resort, I highly encourage you to look into Disney's Caribbean Beach.  We love all the resort has to offer.  The pool area is awesome.  My daughter loves the water slides and water cannons and my husband loves to relax in one of the two hot tubs after a long day.  We also enjoy the nightly marshmallow roasts along the white sandy beaches.  I have never had a bad experience staying there.

While planning your vacation, keep an eye on the Special Offers page of the Walt Disney World website.  There you will find current discounts that may apply to your vacation.  I always try to book my vacations around a special deal to save some money.  I hope this helps point you in the right direction!
    Happy planning.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
