Hi, My family and I are staying at Port Orleans French Quarter in December and I was wondering if the resort had its own bus or if it shares a route with Riverside? If so can you hop on the bus after it has done the Riverside stops to minimise travel time?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Susan! I stayed with my husband and kids at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter and I was completely enchanted by the cozy, calm style of the “streets.” I nearly imagined Tiana coming around the corner to visit her restaurant or Ray cozied up in the mossy trees.

As you make your way to the two dedicated bus stops at one of Disney’s smaller Resorts, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised. When I stayed here, the buses were stopping only at this Resort for all Parks and Disney Springs. I will tell you that I was there during a moderately busy season, which means that in lower crowd times it may combine with another Resort, but I couldn’t say for certain. I recommend that you check with your Resort Hotel Concierge upon check-in, that everything is as I told you. You’ll know instantly if you want to Resort Hop over to Riverside, though I can tell you the walk to the sister Resort may take just as much time as a quick bus stop. Take the opportunity to get right on the bus and relax until you’re at your destination.

If I can help you with any other vacation planning tips, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
