Hi, My family and I will be staying at the All-Star Movie resort. I read somewhere that you can't eat or swim at the other All-Star resorts?? Is this true? Thanks.

    Hi Donny,

The rumors you have heard are only partially true.  Access to Disney resort pools are restricted to use by the guests who are currently registered at that specific resort.  That rule is in place to keep the crowds from becoming unreasonable at the pools.  Too many guests in any one pool is unsafe, therefore Disney must enforce this policy.

Access to resort restaurants, however, is not at all restricted.  In fact, no matter where my family stays on Disney property, we make it an objective to visit as many restaurants at other resorts as possible.  For instance, we always eat at 'Ohana's at Disney's Polynesian Resort or the Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney's Wilderness Lodge even if we are staying at Disney's Beach Club Resort.  Anyone who doesn't take some time to experience the lovely restaurants at other Disney resorts during their stay is really missing out.  Just be sure to call ahead and make reservations if you hope to dine at the table service restaurants as these are very popular dining options.

Wishing you a magical stay at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort!
