Hi, My family and I are planning our first visit ever (for all 4 of us) and was wondering what is recommended for first timers on a strict budget?

    Hi Emily!

Thanks for choosing to visit me at the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!
I'm so excited to help you as you begin planning your family's First Walt Disney World Vacation ever!

You're definitely on the right track so far. A big key to sticking to your budget is to plan in advance, so by booking many months ahead and now visiting the Moms Panel for tips and advice, I think you're off to a great start!

Have you considered the Disney Dining Plan? Adding a Dining Plan to your Magic Your Way vacation is a great way to help stick to a budget and yet STILL enjoy some great extras like Character Dining, without the added bills during your vacation. I've done the Dining Plan many, many times now and can't imagine a Disney vacation without it now! It makes dining at Walt Disney World so enjoyable and worry free!

Other little things like planning your days so that you don't need a Park Hopper, staying at a Value Resort, and bringing along your own snacks and treats for the kids are helpful ways to save money without taking away from any of the magic.

If I can assist you further in any of these areas, please don't hesitate to write to me again with more questions. I'd love to hear from you again soon!

Wishing you a Magical time as you begin planning your family's vacation Emily!
