Hello Javier,
Thanks for stopping by
planDisney with your question. Summer will be here before you know it and so will your
magical vacation! I am sure the excitement in your household will be building over the next few months.
As a fellow glasses wearing Walt Disney World fan, I can tell you that you don't HAVE to take off your glasses on any attraction. My eyesight is not very good, so taking off my glasses is not an option if I want to truly enjoy an attraction. However, I have taken them off while riding
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, and there are some rides where I am extra careful with my glasses:
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad,
Space Mountain,
Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain, and maybe
Dinosaur. I'm usually okay on Test Track because it's a fairly smooth ride once you start going fast. For these attractions you might want to consider Croakies or some other eyewear strap to keep them in place, just in case. Losing your glasses on an attraction could really put a damper on your magical vacation.
One last thought that has nothing to do with eyeglasses. You're probably already aware that you will be arriving on Independence Day. That's typically a really busy day in the parks, so be sure to make your daily
theme park reservations soon. Right now every park is available during the month of July, but it's easier to plan your reservations now and adjust later if needed than to risk forgetting to make reservations and find out that all of the parks are booked.
Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!
Diane
