    Hi, My family will be participating in our first runDisney event with the Star Wars the Dark Side Half Marathon weekend at Disney World. How do I find information on which resort is a “Host” hotel?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lisa! 

    I hope you and your family are looking forward to your first runDisney event during the inaugural Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend - The Dark Side. 

    Host Hotel information has not yet been released, but with registration opening to the public on Tuesday, September 22nd at Noon, EST, you can expect it to post very, very soon - I'm hoping for today. 

    I can tell you exactly where to keep checking for this information to be released; on the runDisney website you will see a tab at the top that reads "Travel." From the drop-down menu select Walt Disney World® Resort, you will see a list of race options, when the Resort Hotel information is released, this is where it will post. Staying at a Host Hotel definitely has its advantages and I highly recommend it! I'll continue to check for the information to be released as well, so if you run into any trouble trying to locate it, please check back in with me here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
