offering trades, and track the new releases each week on
Pin-Tastic Tuesday! Pin trading recently celebrated its
25th anniversary, and it's a great time to get involved in the activity. I am also on pins and needles awaiting registration details for this year's pin event.
I'm sure you've been looking at the
Merchandise, Shopping & Products Events page waiting for the "check back soon" message on the A-2-Z Pin Event card to change. While we do not yet know when registration will begin, we do know that it will be held September 5th from 10:30AM until 6PM at ESPN Wide World of Sports. There was advance notice last year before registration began, so I am anticipating a similar situation this year. Tickets for Pin Trading Night in June were dropped without advance warning, but I'm holding out hope that we'll get time to prepare in order to register for the A-2-Z event. Anything can happen, so keep an eye on the event page.
I went back through my email archives and found that I completed registration for last year's pin event on June 12th. Maybe we'll get some news this week about when registration will be held. Once the date is announced, I'll be setting a reminder and blocking off my calendar to ensure I'm on the website when registration begins. Be advised that a randomized queue has been used in the past, so once registration starts everyone with the website open will get shuffled and assigned a spot in line.
I am excited to see what the event will be like at a new venue, since last year's event was at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. I'm also eager to see the pin catalog so I can review all the amazing limited edition pins that will be released! There were some incredible offerings last year, and I have no doubt there will be gems, grails, and must-haves for 2026.
