Hi, My family will be buying the seasonal florida resident passes to go this october. Will we still have to pay parking with these passes?

Hi Brittany, and a big Sunshine State welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I'm so excited for you to be taking the plunge and buying Florida Resident Seasonal Passes! We've had them off and on for several years now, and we've gotten so much use out of them. As my husband says, if it's Saturday, we must be at Walt Disney World!

As much as I love Seasonal Passes, one downside is that they do not include your parking fee. If you think you'll be visiting the Theme Parks often (like, say, every Saturday!), you may want to consider making one of your passes an Annual Pass. There are three of us in my family, and we have two Seasonal Passes and one Annual Pass, which we use to cover our parking. In the year that we've had it, our Annual Pass has more than paid for itself in those parking fees.

I hope this helps as you contemplate which Florida Resident Passes to buy, Brittany. Please stop by and see us again if you have any questions about how to spend all those Disney days to come!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

    Kathy K.

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
