    HI My daughter's 5th birthday is the end of December. We want to take her to Disney for her birthday. What is the weather temperatures like there from the end of December, the beginning of January? Are all the attractions available that time of year?

    What fun to visit Walt Disney World for a Birthday celebration!

    Here are the temperature averages;  when I visited mid-December last year, I was never far from my sweater in the day and a good coat in the evening!
    December - average highs of 73*F and average lows of 51*F
    January - average highs of 71*F and average lows of 48*F

    Generally, refurbishments are announced on the park calendars up to a couple of months in advance. Check out the park calendars using the links below. Click on the month and the day you are going to attend.  On the right hand side of the page you will see what attractions will be refurbished during that month.  Also, the calendars will tell you the times for parades, fireworks and other special events.

    Epcot
    Disney's Hollywood Studios
    Animal Kingdom
