    Hi, my children don`t speak english. Can they join the Oceaneers Club and Lab on Disney Cruise?

    Hi, Kristyna!

    Your children are more than welcome at the Oceaneer's Club and Oceaneer's Lab! Because the Disney Cruise Line (DCL) Cast Members and Crew hail from all over the world, there are many languages spoken throughout the ships. Most likely, someone will be able to interpret what your children are saying and how the counselors can best meet their needs. To be confident, make sure you note the language they speak when you register them for the Oceaneer's Club/Lab and on your reservation. Plus, when you visit the youth clubs on Embarkation Day, you'll want to introduce your children to the counselors and ask if there is someone who can interpret.

    Also, to make you feel at ease, all four of my children -- who speak English and only a little Spanish -- have made many friends who speak little or no English while at the DCL youth clubs. Children all speak the universal language of "play!" I hope this helps you plan and relieves any mommy worries.
