Hi, My child will be two when we arrive at Disney, but will be turning three during our stay. I saw on some forums that if they are two when they check in they count as being two for the entirety of our trip. Is that true for 2018 still?

    Hi Amanda!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so excited to help you plan your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation. It will be even more special since your little one will be celebrating a birthday. Guests do not age during a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, meaning that a trip to enjoy the Disney Parks really does keep you young! So since your little one will be 2 years old at the start of your vacation, you can consider your little one 2 years old for the duration of your trip. This means you don't need to worry about purchasing your little one a theme park ticket as Guests 2 years old and under receive complimentary admission to the theme parks!

But don't worry as this won't limit your little one's birthday celebration. Be sure to pick up a complimentary birthday celebration button from any Disney Resort hotel or Guest Relations at any of the theme parks so Cast Members and other Guests can join in the party. You can also add your little one's birthday to your dining reservations by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463.

Let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your magical vacation! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
