    Hi Magic Kingdom close time for Thanksgiving day Nov 27 is listed on the site as 10 pm but I thought it is usually extended on Thanksgiving til maybe midnight. Is the current closing time firm or is it likely subject to change closer to the holiday week?

    We’re excited to hear from you, and hope that you’re getting excited for your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth! You’ll love visiting during Thanksgiving time, it’s a really incredible time to be at the theme parks! 

    On the My Disney Experince App, under Park Hours & Info, Thursday November 27, 2025 (Thanksgiving Day) shows 9:00AM-10:00PM as the officially stated park hours for Magic Kingdom. Though it is unlikely, hours can be changed at the discretion of Disney World at any time. You can keep watching the My Disney Experience App and the Five Day Calendar on the official Disney World website to see if any updates are made. (Last year it appears that Magic Kingdom closed at 9:00PM on Thanksgiving Day, so I’m excited to see an extra hour added this year!)

    The day before and the day after Thanksgiving have a special ticketed event (Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party) that has hours until 12:00AM available. I highly recommend looking into purchasing those party tickets to experience shorter waits for attractions, cookies and drinks included, and one of the best parades at Disney World! Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is one of my all-time favorite events at Disney World. 

    Though the schedule for Disney Starlight has not been released for November, keep checking the page because you won’t want to miss this new nighttime parade at Magic Kingdom!
