    I see where the Hilton Head Island hotel offers a bus to the beach since it is not directly ON the beach. Can you take your own vehicle to the beach house or MUST you take their transportation to get there?

    Excellent question!

    You are correct in that Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort offers a bus to take guests from the resort to the beach house.  This bus runs from approximately 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in peak times such as the summer, with a bus departing approximately every 20 to 30 minutes.  During non-peak seasons such as fall and spring, the bus operates from about 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and can be called on demand if a bus is not there when you want to go.

    You can also take your own vehicle to the beach house.  The distance from the resort to the beach house is about one mile.  In addition to the bus, you can walk, bike, or take your own vehicle from the resort to the beach house.
