Splish-Splash, Joanne!
Welcome to planDisney. Thank you so much for surfing by with your question. My husband and I stayed at
Disney's Hilton Head Resort last year, and it's a wonderful way to enjoy Disney magic in a whole new way.
Joanne, I just spoke with the front desk Cast Member at the Resort. There are elevators; however, they are limited. If you plan to stay in a
Deluxe Studio or a one-bedroom Villa, you will want to request the Live Oak Lodge. For two-bedroom Villas, there is only an elevator in one building (building 28), and these are accessible rooms. The Cast Member noted if you need to have an elevator, you will want to book an accessible room, especially for the two-bedroom Villa. The reason for this is that those who book the accessible rooms will get priority for these buildings with elevator access.
When you plan to go to the Beach House, be sure to take the shuttle. You can park at the Beach House; however, parking is limited. But it is a bit of a walk, so I recommend taking advantage of the complimentary shuttle to make it easier. It is wheelchair accessible, and there are several other
accessible amenities if you need them. In fact, there are accessible paths of travel to the lobby, restaurants, merchandise locations, pools, and exercise and laundry facilities.
I hope this helps you, Joanne! If you have any questions, stop back here to see me. I'll be flippin' my fins in excitement to help you.
Just keep swimming!
Keri
