Is the Hilton Buena Vista acceptable for guests to stay for Extended Evening Theme Park Hours? They said they were but I am not seeing them on your list of hotels.

    Hello Lori!

Welcome to planDisney! November is a wonderful time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort! The Holiday spirit will be taking over the entire resort as decorations go up in the parks and the resort hotels, delightful holiday treats begin making their appearances, and special events like Disney’s Very Merriest After Hours begin!

Guests of all Disney Resort Collection Hotels, as well as select Disney Springs Hotels, including the Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace and the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista, are eligible for the Early Theme Park Entry. This perk allows Guests of these resorts to enter all four theme parks 30 minutes early every day of the week! Get your day started bright and early. I recommend you head to one of the most popular attractions first thing in the morning to make the most of your time in the park that day.

Disney’s Extended Evening Theme Park Hours are only for Guests staying at Disney Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin, Walt Disney World Swan Reserve, and our military families staying at Shades of Green. At this time, Disney’s Moderate and Value Resorts, and Disney Springs Hotels are not included in the Extended Evening Theme Park Hours. I am sorry that someone at the resort gave you incorrect information. In the past, when the parks had what was called Extra Magic Hours, Guests of Disney Springs Hotels were included in that benefit, and perhaps that is what the person was thinking of.

There may still be availability at some Disney Deluxe Resorts during your dates if those evening hours were important to you. I would think the price difference, however, would be significant. Disney’s Extended Evening Theme Park Hours are only offered two nights per week right now, at only two parks. And while I think it is a great perk for those who can take advantage of it, I still think you will have a magical and marvelous time even without those extra hours. And if you want to make the most of your time in the park, check out the new Disney Genie service which will help you plan and organize your day to experience more magic with less waiting. And if you are interested in shorter than typical waits, you may want to check out Disney’s Genie+ service. For an additional fee, you’ll be able to access the Lightning Lane for select attractions, one at a time, throughout the day. Disney Genie and Genie+ go live on October 19!

Lori, please let me know if you have any additional questions before your visit. Again, I am sorry this is probably disappointing news, but I’m sure your trip will still be amazing!
