Hello Samantha and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited about your kindermoon plans! You are going to make beautiful memories with your soon to be big boy!
You just can’t go wrong with
Mickey’s Backyard BBQ. This is such a fun dinner show where you can enjoy a live band and dance with Mickey, Minnie, and friends. Disney’s Spirit of Aloha is one of my favorite dinner shows, but there is a story that is told during dinner, and I feel that smaller kids seem to have a nicer time at the barbecue because they can dance around, play, and have fun. I am still waiting for the right time to take my 7-year-old to Disney’s Spirit of Aloha because the show takes about 2 hours, I know she will feel tired.
Pirate Adventure Cruises are for buccaneers ages 4 to 12 who set sail on a treasure hunt that lasts about two hours. This is such a fun experience, and there are two adventures to choose from: Islands of the Caribbean Pirate Cruise and Albratross Treasure Cruise. Cast Members are amazing with the children, but since parents do not accompany their scallywags, it is important to know your child and evaluate how comfortable they will be in this experience. Since he likes pirates, another great option is a pirate makeover at
The Pirates League. This is one of my daughter’s favorite experiences and I highly recommend it. It is so much fun, Cast Members are just incredible, and the location makes you feel as if you were inside a pirate ship.
I hope this helps you while planning, Samantha! Please stop by if you have additional questions!
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
