Hi!LOVE the panel! We stayed last year the week after Labor Day and had great crowd levels. This year will be there the week BEFORE Labor Day to celebrate DD birthday. Will there be a big difference in crowds? Thanks so much!

    Hi Mary,

While the week after Labor Day will probably have smaller crowds than before the holiday weekend based on recent trends, the last two weeks of August tend to have moderate crowds as well.  We usually travel during these last "summer vacation" weeks, and find the crowds to be completely manageable.  Many of the school districts in the South go back toward the end of August, so that greatly reduces volume in the parks.

The actual holiday weekend can have a spike of local visitors, but before should be fine.

    Have a wonderful vacation!
