Hi-love you all! Last year at Magic Kingdom, we found shiny mickey- head confetti on the ground. There was some when we first entered, and some by the carousel. What is this about and can I buy the confetti anywhere? I love it! Thanks-soul.

    Hi Jackie!

I love the Mickey-head shaped confetti!  This confetti is also commonly called "Pixie Dust" by Disney Fans!  If you arrive at the Magic Kingdom before it opens, which is also called rope drop, cast members often hand out this Mickey shaped Pixie Dust for you to throw up in the air to help Mickey and the first family of the day open the Magic Kingdom.  My son and I have been to this Magic Kingdom "Opening Ceremony" a few times and they don't mind if you keep a little of this Pixie Dust for yourself and you can always pick some up off the ground too.  I have to admit that I carry a little dime bag of this Mickey Pixie Dust around with me in my wallet to always have a bit of Disney magic with me!

I hope that the Mickey Pixie Dust that you find on your next trip to Walt Disney World brings a lot of magic into your life!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
