Hi Darren and welcome to planDisney!
Nothing makes me happier than helping someone to plan a trip to my favourite holiday destination -
Walt Disney World and, it's always extra special, when that guest happens to be a fellow Brit!
November is a great month to visit. The weather is usually a lovely temperature with lower humidity than during the Summer and the chance of rain is quite low. Crowds are also generally manageable at this time of year which is always a good thing, especially when travelling with children. If you do decide to visit in November, you might even be able to attend
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party during your stay. If you ask me, there's no better way to get into the Christmas spirit!
Going back to your question, Darren, having stayed at the vast majority of all the
Disney Resort Hotels over the years, I can honestly say that you can't go wrong with any of them! There are options available for every budget and no matter which hotel you decide to stay at, you will be able to truly immerse yourself in the magic. There are many
benefits of staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, but, my favourites have to be
Early Theme Park Entry and complimentary
Resort Transportation.
The clue is in the name but, all of the
Value Resort Hotels offer excellent value for money, lots of recreational activities (including swimming pools, playgrounds, campfire activities and movies under the stars) and amenities.
My family stayed at the All-Star Music Resort for a fortnight last year and had a wonderful time. This year, we have decided to stay at Pop Century Resort which is also a Value Resort Hotel but, has the added bonus of the
Disney Skyliner as a mode of transport.
Moderate Resort Hotels generally offer more elaborate theming, larger rooms, a Table-Service restaurant (except for Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter), more amenities and swimming pools featuring a slide (which the Value Resort Hotels don't).
Deluxe Resort Hotels are a step up again generally being in closer proximity to the Theme Parks, having additional modes of complimentary Resort Transportation available and offering
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours.
The choices are endless but, rest assured that whatever Disney Resort Hotel you decide to stay at, you will not be disappointed.
I hope that this has answered your question, Darren. If we can be of any further help with the planning of your trip, please feel free to re-visit us, here at planDisney, where it will be our absolute pleasure to assist you.
Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
