Hi, Looking at different forums it has been indicated that it is possible to get a microwave in a standard room at the Grand Californian for an additional cost. Is this possible?

Hi there, Geordie! Thanks so much for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I checked with Guest Services this morning and was informed that microwaves are not available to add to any of the rooms at the three Disneyland Resort Hotels. There are microwaves available in common areas of the hotels, however. For instance, during my last stay at the Disneyland Hotel, I noticed a microwave on the first floor that was located near the vending machines.

You are going to adore staying at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa. There are excellent dining options located inside the hotel and the proximity to the parks simply can't be beat. Also, if the beautiful Arts and Crafts architecture is what drew you to this hotel, there is an Art of the Craft Tour that focuses on the magnificent architectural details of the hotel. Just stop by Guest Services to reserve your spot for this hour-long tour.

I hope your stay at the Disneyland Resort is filled with memories and magic!
