Hi, Looking to clarify about dining at resort restaurants when not staying on site. If I make a reservation do I need to be using a ticket to gain access to the restaurant? If we want to dine at Grand Floridian will be have to go to Magic Kingdom that day

Sure thing Jennifer and I'm delighted to say that all Guests visiting Walt Disney World Resort may make Advanced Dining Reservations up to 180 days in advance of their visit!
Advanced Dining Reservations can be simply made via My Disney Experience or by speaking directly with a Cast Member by dialling the dining reservations number shown in this Walt Disney World Phone Directory link.
You are absolutely going to love dining at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and you'll be pleased to know Guests staying outside of Disney property are welcomed at Disney eateries and will only need to gain entrance to a Disney Theme Park if a chosen restaurant is inside the park.
When arriving at any Disney Resort Hotel parking lot be sure to have some photographic ID plus a note of your Advance Dining Reservation number to show Disney Security if required.
If I can help sprinkle any extra pixie dust onto your planned visit to Walt Disney World Resort please pop back to ask me another question.
    Have a great Disney day.
