Hi! Leaving for WDW in 2 weeks! So excited! Staying at Fort Wilderness-is it possible to take a boat to the Contemporary from there? Thanks so much!!

    Hi Andrea,

Sounds like you are going to have a great time....I love Fort Wilderness!  There are boats at the marina in Fort Wilderness that will take you to the Contemporary Resort as well as the Wilderness Lodge and Magic Kingdom.

You would take the internal bus system at Fort Wilderness to the Settlement Depot (if you are in a location further away from the marina) and you can walk to the marina within minutes.  At the marina you can get the Blue Flag launch which will take you to the Contemporary and Wilderness Lodge Resorts.

To get to the Polynesian or Grand Floridian Resorts, you can take the launch (Green Flag) to Magic Kingdom or the (Blue Flag) for the Contemporary Resort and from there take the monorail.  Have a magical time on your upcoming trip!

    Best Wishes,
