Hi! Leaving for Disney World in 12 days with family and friends but without my older son since he is a freshman in college this year. Question..can I make and send a care package to him, from my hotel or nearby? Any advice would be great!

    Hi Kristine,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Oh, how this question tugged at my heartstrings! My oldest son is a junior in college and has not been able to join us on our family visits to the Walt Disney World Resort these past few years. Vacations are not the same without him, so I certainly know how you feel and can understand that you want to let him know you're thinking about him while you are on your trip. Sending him a care package is a special way to include him in the magic even though he won't be with you!

You'll be happy to know that you can send him anything you'd like from your Resort Hotel. You can drop off the package that you want to be mailed at the Front Desk or Concierge, and they will deliver the package to the Business Center for shipping.

I'd be willing to bet that he would appreciate a few Mickey Mouse Rice Krispie Treats in that "pixie dusted" package; that would be a "sweet" way of letting him know that you miss him!

I hope this information helps. Please visit us again if you have any additional vacation planning questions!

    Enjoy Your Magical Visit,
    Susan
