Hi, Last year the Magic ticket couldn't be used on Holiday weeks. Can you use the Magic ticket over July 4th week?

Hi there, Teresa. Welcome back to planDisney, where we give all the tips and tricks to help you plan your best Disney vacation ever!

The 4-Day, 4-Park Magic Ticket can be used with start dates from April 2nd through September 22nd, 2024. When you go to purchase these tickets, you will need to select a start date on a calendar, and they must be used within 7 days of that start date. As long as there is availability during the July 4th week when you go to purchase them, you can use them during that week.

It's important to note that these tickets, like all tickets to the Walt Disney World Resort, are subject to capacity closures and other restrictions. And since this week is very popular, it's important to enter the park early and only leave the park when you are sure you are done for the day. This is especially important in Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT, but can also be true for all of the theme parks. You'll also want to note that it's not uncommon for Disney Resorts Collection Hotels that have a beach or other viewing platform for a nighttime spectacular to require wristbands to access these areas on the day of the holiday as well as the day before and after. These wristbands are only handed out to Guests who are staying at these hotels.

I don't say all of this to scare you in any way, I just want you to be prepared. Spending a holiday at the resort can be truly magical. In fact, my husband and I had a marvelous time spending Easter this year at Magic Kingdom Park. There were some fun-filled surprises and treats...and just an atmosphere of joy and happiness. I mean, I know that that's usually the atmosphere, but it was even more so because of the holiday!

Teresa, enjoy your time at the resort this July 4th. If you have any other questions, please reach out and I'll get you those answers!

It's a salute to all nations, but mostly America,
    Matt
