Hi, Todd!
Welcome to
Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Oh, my, your upcoming trip to
Walt Disney World with your 1-year-old is going to be super-special! Our first family trip to WDW included our then 3-year-old and our 5-month-old, and our baby carrier was key to navigating with the little one. Great question!
The type of carrier you describe is perfect; you'll see lots of folks with a variety of baby carriers as you tour the parks, so no worries there!
While you plan your trip, check out the very helpful post
Planning for Pre-School Kids & Little Ones. There, you'll find suggested itineraries, a Preschool Parent's Guide to Walt Disney World Resort and so much more. You'll be sure to pick up additional information after a quick read through this great resource.
Another thing you won't want to miss is a visit to Walt Disney World's
Baby Care Centers. Truly, one of the reasons I fell in love with Walt Disney World was the thoughtfulness put into the convenience, cleanliness and creativity found in these centers. Located in each of the four theme parks, you'll be sure to find that a visit or two to a Baby Care Center each day will make your Walt Disney World touring even more magical.
Happy planning, Todd!
Send more questions as you think of them, too; we love to help!
