    Hi.I've been on "My Disney Experience" and looked at the magicbands and it says link your band or card. How do you know if you have been chosen to test the bands and when will we know if we have been chosen? We are Disney vacation Club members fr

    Hi Marie,

    Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with you question.

    MagicBands are a part of the new MyMagic+ program, which is being rolled out and tested by Disney right now.  It is important to remember that the program is still in the testing phase.  Therefore, you may not be chosen to test the MagicBands for your upcoming trip.  If you are not, do not worry.  You will still receive a Key to the World Card and will be able to enjoy your Walt Disney World vacation just as you have before!

    I hear that guests have been learning in many different ways that they have been chosen to test MagicBands.  Since you are on My Disney Experience, keep checking there as you may find out on My Disney Experience that you can test MagicBands.  Other guests have heard via e-mail, and some Disney Vacation Club members have received UPS packages indicating that they have been chosen to test the MagicBands.  The time in advance that you may know does seem to vary, though it typically seems to often be a matter of weeks, possibly around a month or so in advance. My best advice it just to keep monitoring all of these channels, and to remember that it is okay if you are not chosen to test the MagicBands.
