Hi! Ive a dairy free daughter & possibly gluten free, how widely is this sort of food available in all the parks, including icecream?? she will be too young to understand why she cant have something but her brother can.

    Hello, Louise,

Thank you for your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Walt Disney World does a wonderful job meeting the special dietary needs of guests and offering a variety of choices for meals and snacks (including ice cream alternatives). To help with your planning, there is a page of information about Special Dietary Requests that you'll want to look over.  You will also want to make sure to include a notation on any of your dining reservations.  You can also request allergy-friendly menus at a large number of table-service and quick-service restaurants. To further help with your planning, there are a number of independent websites that contain helpful information:  allergyfreemouse.com, allergyeats.com, glutenanddairyfree.com, and glutenfreedairyfreewdw.com.

Once you look over all these links and websites and find you have further questions, please let us know.  We are happy to help!

Wishing you a wonderful trip! -Kara
