Greetings, (not so) Foolish Mortal! Fall is a practically perfect time to
be headed to
Walt Disney World Resort! With all of the Halloween fun and
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, the parks are brimming with tricks and treats around every corner.
I just booked dining reservations for a day I will be at
Magic Kingdom Park, but I won't be attending
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Since we are not
hanging with the grim, grinning ghosts that evening, our dinner is at 5:55 p.m. With the park closing at 6 p.m. for regular day Guests, this is the latest time you can have a reservation without a party ticket. We will be in the park after it closes for us, so we will be walking out as the partygoers are making their way inside.
I'm sorry to let you know that dinner reservations at 6 p.m. or later require a special event ticket to dine. You will need to adjust your plans to enjoy dinner earlier in the evening or at a venue outside the Magic Kingdom. I recommend trying for dinner at
'Ohana,
Narcoossee's or
California Grill. Each of these is just a Monorail ride away and offers a view of the fireworks. If you had your sights set on something a little more casual,
Kona Cafe is a favorite choice of mine. After dinner, grab a DOLE Whip treat at the
Pineapple Lanai and head to the beach at the
Polynesian Village Resort for a
spooktacular view of
Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular.
Jaime, I wish I had different news for you, but I hope you can adjust your plans to another option that makes your heart skip a beat. If you have any other questions, please come see us again at
planDisney. We're
dying to help!
Let's Boo This!
