Hi, I’ve booked the Ohana breakfast as I’m a big Stitch fan. On the site it says the breakfast times are 7-12 but the reservation time it gave me was 12.05pm - does this mean I won’t get to see the characters or have the breakfast food? Many thanks Jo

Hi Joan. Thank you for bringing your question to use here are planDisney.

'Ohana is a Guest favorite restaurant at one of my favorite Disney Resorts Collection Hotels, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. In fact, this is the third question related to this restaurant I've answered today! Character dining is such a great way to meet characters without having to wait in line or worry about booking a Lightning Lane through the Disney Genie+ Service to meet them. Instead, you get to eat some delicious food while the characters come to you! Plus, you're in the air conditioning, which is especially nice when it's August in central Florida.

'Ohana usually offers their character breakfast until 12 p.m. However, sometimes they offer breakfast until 12:15 p.m., which is likely the case on the date of your booking. As long as you reserved the "Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo & Stitch," it will be a breakfast meal as 'Ohana does not currently serve lunch, only breakfast and dinner. While you should be able to see the characters during your meal, if it's a priority, I would recommend seeing if you can move your reservation to an earlier time. Since 12:05 p.m. is toward the end of the breakfast window, you may not get much time with all of the characters. Please note that characters do not appear for dinner at this location so do not change it to a later time if you want to meet them!

To change your reservation, simply log on to the My Disney Experience mobile app. Then, tap on the three horizontal lines (≡) on the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. Afterward, select "Future Plans," find your 'Ohana reservation, click it, select "Modify," and follow the prompts. Since this is a very popular experience, you may not find an earlier time right away. If that's the case, just check back as your vacation gets closer to see if any earlier times open up!

Joan, while you're visiting Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, be sure to check out BouTiki, a unique merchandise location that sometimes offers items not found anywhere else. They even sometimes carry items from one of my favorite Disney Resorts, Aulani - A Disney Resort & Spa in Hawaii! While not a guarantee, it's worth checking into if you're at the resort. And speaking of worth checking into, I highly recommend you try a delicious DOLE Whip creation at Pineapple Lanai. It's a great spot!

I hope you have a wonderful vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort and a delicious meal at 'Ohana! Be sure to reach out if you have any other questions.
