Hi, Is the Wine Walk being offered currently? Going to Food and Wine in two weeks and I was curious. I saw this question was answered around March of this year but I cannot.find any information on the app like where to sign up for it, etc Thanks!

    Hi Lynn!

Welcome back to planDisney!  Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is Just Around the Riverbend and I bet you are bursting with excitement!  Fall is such a great time to visit the parks.  From the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, there is fun around every corner!

Lynn, the Wine Walk is a favorite when visiting EPCOT with my husband.  He loves tasting wines from various regions and this passport experience gives us the chance to do just that.  You can choose to begin your international tasting in either Germany, France, or Italy by visiting the wine shop in that country.  Whether you choose to complete all of your tastings in one day or come back over several days, I'm sure you'll find it an enjoyable experience!  The Cast Member I spoke with was unable to confirm this as a current offering, but I'd encourage you to look for it when it the park.  It truly is a "hidden" gem as it has never been something prominently advertised or listed on the Walt Disney World Resort website so many Guests don't even know it exists!

While the Wine Walk is available year-round, the EPCOT International Food and Wine festival is a seasonal event that fills EPCOT with Global Marketplaces showcasing wonderful food and beverage options.  I like to make a plan before my visit of so I don't miss anything I want to try.  You can find a Foodie Guide available on the Disney Parks Blog and also pick up a Festival Passport when you arrive in EPCOT.  You'll find a wonderful assortment of wines that are unique to the festival - definitely worth exploring!  I'd also recommend checking out the Eat to the Beat Concert Series while in the park.  There are some incredible performers and it's a great way to end the evening!

Lynn, I hope this information is helpful and that you enjoy a wonderful visit to EPCOT next week!  If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney!

    Cheers,
    Kristi
