Hi,is the trail from the Wilderness Lodge to Fort Wilderness far and is it lighted? If we do the Hoop de do review at night, will we be able to walk back to the Wilderness lodge?

    Hi Bill,

Thanks for your question about Disney's Wilderness Lodge!

The trail from the Lodge over to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is roughly a mile long.  My son and I biked it in May and it took us less than 10 minutes to reach Pioneer Hall from the Lodge.  This path, however, is not especially well-lit so it would not be my preferred means for returning to Disney's Wilderness Lodge after the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue.  (It also might be very chilly to walk this far at night during the winter months).  Instead, I would head to the Fort Wilderness boat dock immediately after your show ends.  A boat with a blue flag will be by shortly to pick you up and return you to Disney's Wilderness Lodge.

Have a blast at the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue and please enjoy some strawberry shortcake for me!
